Is this the demise of great Ethiopian coffee?

The coffee industry has been abuzz in recent months with the changes in the Ethiopian coffee distribution system.

Roasters (me included) are profoundly concerned that the new system driven by the Ethiopian government is the end of specialty coffee from that country as we know it.
